Look for a little run up in the surf starting Tuesday, peaking Wednesday and gradually falling off into Friday of this week. Waves forecasted to be in the waist high range Tuesday with winds out of the S to SE at 5-10 mph. The swell looks to peak in size Wednesday with surf filling in around chest high, winds less favorable out of the south in the 10-15 mph range. Look for favorable conditions at the Crabby Joe's web cam located at the Daytona Beach Sunglow Pier on Thursday with light offshore winds early before turning north in the evening. As always keep an eye on the surfcam for up to the minute conditions and live surf cam video.

Still nothing to be stoked about as far as waves go this weekend in Daytona Beach. Surf still continues in the knee to thigh high range around the Sunglow Pier. Look for temps to be in the mid 70's on Saturday and Sunday. It will be a great beach day with light winds out of the NE and plenty of sunshine with a moderate uv index. It's looking like we might see some waist to ribcage sets early Tuesday so check the surfcam often and look for the Monday update when surf conditions are dialed in.
Monday - February 2nd, 2009

Cold, windy and rainy pretty much sums up the next couple of days here at Volusia county's very own Daytona Beach surf cam. Not much going on in the water either unless your the type that like victory at sea conditions. Sea's forecasted in the 3-4 foot range over the next three days which will result in maybe knee to thigh high waves pushing through. Keep an eye on the Daytona surfcam frequently in case the winds decide to favor up and turn hard offshore. Make sure to show your support and keep this cam/service free by telling all your friends about the newest sunglow pier surfcam surfing site! Feel free to also upload all your surfing related photo's in our photo gallery located in the forum section of the website.
Friday - January 30th, 2009

Look for the surf to continue to build through out the day today and into tonight before peaking early Saturday. Check the webcam early tomorrow to confirm if the swell has filled in yet or not. Look for a high tide around 11:00am and a low tide around 5:00pm in the afternoon. Winds are forecasted to be pretty strong out of the north in the 10-15 mph range. Hopefully we might see some lighter NW winds which in turn will make this weekend a little more valuable in the water. And as always check the Sunglow Pier Surfcam located in Daytona Beach before making a trip over.
Monday - January 26, 2009

Waves are still on track to be in the 3-4 foot range through out the day on Tuesday, before falling off into the 2-3ft range overnight. Keep an eye on the Daytona Beach surf cam located at the Sunglow Pier through out the day. Also make sure to check the Written Surf Forecast for the Monday and Friday updates.
Friday - January 23th, 2009

Still nothing much scheduled for the weekend other then what we have been seeing over the last couple days. Small 2-3ft @ 10+ surf continues with a light mix of WNW winds expected. Surf looked small but semi-fun the last two days at low tide, so if you going attempt a session plan for it around low tide. Things start looking more interesting in the beginning of next week with some incoming NE wind swell energy in the lineup. Make sure to keep an eye on the surf cam on both the north and south side of the Sunglow Pier. see ya in the water!
Monday - January 5th, 2009

Not looking like much this week, minimal swell heights forecasted with a little bump on Wednesday. Might be something there to check out at low tide. Keep an eye on the winds also Wednesday as they should be favorable and have the possibility of being offshore. As always, stay tuned and always check the cam frequently for live conditions!
